Cancellation and Refund Policy

Effective Date: 08-10-2026
Last Updated: 08-10-2026

This Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to payments made through the online admission facility of Nirmala Bhavan Higher Secondary School, Kowdiar, Trivandrum, Kerala – 695003 (“School”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

1. Admission Registration / Admission Fee

The applicable online admission registration/admission fee is:

₹500 (Indian Rupees Five Hundred only).

The amount payable will be displayed to the Applicant before the payment is initiated.

2. No Cancellation Refund

The ₹500 admission registration/admission fee is non-refundable.

Once the payment has been successfully completed, the Applicant is not entitled to a refund because of cancellation, withdrawal, change of decision, or non-completion of the admission process.

No cancellation refund will be provided if the Applicant:

  • Withdraws the admission application;
  • Decides not to seek admission;
  • Chooses another school;
  • Does not attend a test or interview;
  • Does not complete subsequent admission formalities;
  • Is not selected for admission;
  • Does not meet the applicable admission criteria;
  • Does not obtain a seat; or
  • Otherwise decides not to proceed with admission.

3. Payment Does Not Guarantee Admission

Payment of the ₹500 admission registration/admission fee does not guarantee admission to Nirmala Bhavan Higher Secondary School.

The fee relates to participation in the applicable admission/registration process. Admission remains subject to the School’s admission rules, eligibility requirements, availability of seats, applicable tests or interviews, and the decision of the School authorities.

4. Failed or Pending Transactions

A payment transaction may occasionally appear unsuccessful, pending, or incomplete even though the Applicant’s bank account has been debited.

In such a situation, the Applicant should not immediately make another payment.

The Applicant should contact the School and provide the available transaction/reference details so that the School can verify the transaction with the payment gateway or relevant financial institution.

5. Automatic Transaction Reversals

If a payment is unsuccessful and the payment gateway, bank, card network, UPI provider, or other financial institution automatically reverses or releases the debited amount, such reversal is a payment-processing outcome and is not a cancellation refund provided by the School.

The timing of such reversals is controlled by the relevant payment service provider or financial institution.

6. Duplicate Transactions

If the Applicant believes that the same admission fee has been charged more than once, the Applicant should contact the School with the relevant transaction/reference numbers.

The School may verify such transactions with the payment gateway and relevant financial institution.

Any action required as a result of a genuine payment-processing error will be handled based on the transaction records and applicable payment-service procedures.

7. No Cash Refunds

The School does not provide cash refunds for online admission fee payments.

Where a payment reversal is required or processed by the payment gateway, bank, card network, UPI provider, or applicable law, the transaction will normally be handled through the applicable electronic payment mechanism.

8. Payment Gateway and Bank Processing

The School is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Banks;
  • Payment gateways;
  • Card networks;
  • UPI providers;
  • Internet or telecommunications providers; or
  • Other third-party payment service providers.

The time required for a transaction to be confirmed, reversed, or reflected in a bank account may vary depending on the relevant service provider.
